Application for student assistance opportunities offered by the AAPF is open to pre-college piano students studying with AAPF members. Applicants must demonstrate both financial need and merit. Awards are competitive to the extent that they will be given to those students judged by the Student Assistance Committee to be most in need and possessing the greatest merit.
Educational Enhancement Awards can be used to assist students with the cost of continuing private lessons, as well as with application fees and/or travel expenses for competitions or programs which may enhance a student’s future career in the music field. These include summer music camps and special summer music programs of study.
